The Avalon Project

education for peace and sustainability

Education is the key  to any social change, hence educating in social and ecological justice is the very keystone of the arch of a new sustainable civilisation

We have been doing social education on issues related to peace, social justice and sustainability for 15 years, relying on experts in their fields and with teaching experience.

On a global level, we offer lectures and online courses in English and Spanish worldwide. On a local level, we impart lectures, workshops, nature immersion retreats, seminars and educational programmes for universities.

Among the topics we work with, you can find the following:

The new stage of the Avalon Project had its launch in October 2018. This means that we are still in the building phase of our educational programmes. As we develop our proposals we will offer them here.

However, so that you can get an idea of what we propose, here you are a video presentation from an online course which we designed and developed in Scotland in 2015 for the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA Scotland), a prestigious non-profit educational organisation for adults which has more than a century of existence and consultative status in UNESCO.

This course was titled Another World Is Possible: Alternatives to Neoliberal Globalisation After the necessary update, this will be one of our basic online courses in the coming years.

In any case, if you are interested in our courses, seminars, workshops and talks, please subscribe to our mailing list (just below) and we will keep you informed.
